My name is Anna and I am a self-taught seamstress. Okay, that’s sort of a lie. I originally learned to sew in my required eighth grade sewing class, but I sewed nothing for about ten years after those too short tapered pajama pants… woof. I bought my first real sewing machine second hand for sixty bucks and I’ve been abusing it ever since. I live in Lakewood, Colorado with my bearded, beer brewing husband and my sweet but cowardly mutt Vespa.
Random Facts of Awesome:
- I am an eternal five-year-old. My favorite things in the world are cookies, blankies and puppies. I also love pretty dresses. And beer.
- I am over six feet tall… by a half inch if you’re a measuring tape, by two inches (or more) if you’re a guy comparing me to your height (face it dude, you’ve been lying since high school and have somehow convinced yourself of your exaggerated stature).
- I have completed three marathons (woo!). The next one will be May 2014!
- I have a sweet, goofy and somewhat cowardly whippet/blue heeler couch potato named Vespa!
Vespa enjoys receiving hugs and belly rubs, having her armpits scratched, running at ludicrous speed, leaping through the spray of the garden hose, chasing (and often catching) her Frisbee, taking naps and licking toes.
